Okay sorry for making this sound like a Nike advertisement.

Anyway, yes, just a short one because oh-no-we-have-no-time, we are recalling facils back! Yes, the facils, we need you! Uh, no pictures to motivate you, but c'mon la, just come back! We love you!

The long awaited gathering...

is here!

Details:

Date/Time: 19th December 2007, Wednesday, report at 4.30

Venue: Rebecca's house, Kovan Melody (Blk 33 Kovan Road Kovan Melody)

How to get there: To get to the bus stop outside kovan mrt station, buses available:

80, 81, 82, 101, 107, 112, 113, 136, 153.

If taking bus from:

J8—take 58, then change to 153, 101 or 107 at the stop right after the bus stop at serangoon mrt station.

OR, take 55, then change to 113, 112 or 82 after alighting at after seeing the junction leading to the hougang swimming complex.

AMKhub—take either 25( at the bus interchange), 132(from the bus stop outside amk mrt station) and change at to 113, 112 or 82 at the stop right after seeing the junction leading to hougang swimming complex. Another bus would be 136, which is a direct bus to the bus stop outside kovan mrt station, though the waiting time is around 10-15 minutes.

Toa payoh—take 153, either at the bus stop near beatty secondary school, or somewhere else closer to wherever you live. Note: it is a direct bus to the bus stop outside Kovan mrt station.

MRT: Kovan is on the NORTH EAST LINE, NE13.

What's it going to be like:

The BBQ will be starting at 6. Rebecca is booking the basketball court at the 4.30 - 5.30 timeslot so do come early! There are 4 pools available - bring your swimwear (only proper swimming attires allowed; no clothes in the pools.) Although food is prepared, you can bring your tidbits to share =)

Please note that we're collecting 5 dollars for the BBQ. We're trying to keep it within the budget so kindly understand the woes of the Gathering Organizers!

Don't absent yourself because of the price okay! Come and reminisce with the facils! See you people on the 19th, Wed! Don't be too late! Oh, Mrs. Chen should be coming too. Spread the message to other facils because time is really tight! 2 days to gathering! Do have a fun pre-christmas party!

Yes, if you do, don't go all "MEMEME I WANT GATHERING I MISS THE FACILS I LOVE JIASHENG" on me.

The idea is to have a christmas party gathering, in which we'll get to do some silly stuff like oxidize some pieces of meat (bbqing), organize our bodies in a series of strokes and pushes in a dihydrogen oxide environment(swimming) and generally chatting. Whatever.

I'll need to know the following:

1) The response level to see who is actually interested
2) The amount you're willing to pay
3) Your availability.

P5 CAMP 2007!

HI ALL! :D

okay. yeah, as you'll probably already know, p5camp 2007 is back again! yes.

basically, the confirmed facils are:
wenxi, hazel, janelle, alex, weiqi, rebecca, xinyuan, jiasheng, qiqi, amelia, jovina, lynn, jolyn, serene, mavis, marcus lim, jiaxun, fiona, davina, marcus tan, mingcheng, gareth, felicia, chun keat, meredith, hongrui, valerie, theodore, shermaine, sheila, xinni and nicholas.

plus some p6'07 students from 6f and err, i think a one from 6b. yup.

basically this year, the first and third day will be held in school, and the second day held in sarimbun camp, somewhere in the woodlands area. so there wont be any station games organised by us at all this year, as the second day will be done by the outside vendor.

FACILS BRIEFING:
Date: 31 October (Wednesday)
Time: 0930am
Venue: PCPS School hall
What to wear: your SECONDARY SCHOOL pe attire/class shirt/house shirt [girls to wear pinafore or skirt over]

you will first be introduced to the P5s (please dont freak out), so please look presentable. subsequently, you will have to attend a training session, something like last year's just that this year, there wont be any dry run, cos obviously theres nothing to run. but there will be stuff for you to do so that you will be able to guide the p5s better during the camp. yup.

please take note of this very important anouncement, and inform your friends who dont know about this yet. yup.

Let me start with a confession! (Because every good random blogger knows the right way to start a blogpost is always with a confession.)
I forgot this blog's password. Well, so there. How many of you remembers it by the way? I ought to give out prizes.
Anyway, I've changed it so now it's **************. Unless you can discern the minute differences between the asterisks, you can get the new one from me. At 97325413 (I sound like a very desperate guy, don't I? xP)
Well, then I continue with good news. Or bad news. Or news.
The P5 camp is uh... back.
According to the information I've gotten from Mrs. Chen, it's going to be during the first week of
November, 1/11-3/11
The drawback would be that the second day would be handled by professionals at Camp Seribum, where the campers would be shipped to. So the basic format would be:
1st day- ice-breakers, sleep.
2nd day- camp seribum
3rd day- prize giving, photo, blah blah blah.
Done.
Sure, I share your sentiments about it being not as fun for the facils, but things have to be compromised I guess. It's a more diverse experience also.

gathering

hey people!tomato here.due to strong suggestions as to having a gathering from potato and spicy, i was wondering if we could go out on the last week of dec or sth. give suggestions!!!all the facils. in cluding sec ones,threes and p6es. yeah:)


AND PLEASE KEEP THIS BLOG ALIVE!

oh yeah. and give suggestions as to when and where and what are we gg to do on our outing.
